Gibson revives The Paul for a 40th anniversary edition featuring a gloss finished solid walnut body, and 490R neck and 498T bridge pickups.

The Paul is a fairly simple guitar with a relatively small price in the Gibson range and should be a good seller.
Also a good option for the guitar player wanting a Les Paul sound in a simpler format with a little more brightness.

As per usual these guitars will not be available in Australia for some time.
