The new Fender Meteora is now available in stores.
This guitar is part of the “Parallel Universe” series where Fender has given guitar designers some freedom to come up with new designs.

The Meteora seems to be a cross-breed between a Jazzmaster and a Telecaster.
There’s lots of brightness and clarity from the custom shop Telecaster pickups and enough body mass for a nice full low end.
The feel of the neck is also very good.
The “narrow tall” are exactly that, giving the height of jumbo frets, without the fret size and mass.

25.5″ scale lenght, 9.5″ fretboard radius, American Professional Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles, chrome dome knobs and vintage “spaghetti” logo.
