After failing to turn itself into a “lifestyle” company by buying various electronics brands Gibson will refocus on guitars and musical instruments.
Contrary to some of the news, the guitar side of Gibson has been making profits and guitar sale are not dead.

Gibson has also released some new models, some with different specs and materials like the High Performance II series with Richlight fretboards.
These guitars should be available in Australia towards the end of the year or early 2019.

What remains to be seen is the onerus attitudes Gibson often had towards it’s dealers.
My retail experience has always been difficult at best dealing with Gibson guitar and what seemed to be lack of quality control.
